It is the oldest Christian monument preserved on the island. Located near Apolpaina, in the olive grove. Its foundation was believed in 1449 – 1450, while others place it earlier, during the 11th century. Its church, the church of Panagia Odigitria is basilica with a wooden roof and is well maintained.
In the east and south wall are preserved separately mural art courses, combining Palaiologan with western style. Here lived the last period of her life, from 1463 until 1474 and was buried the nun Palaiologina, daughter of Bishop Mistras Thomas Paleologos and wife of the Serbian despot, Vrankovic.
